The rose violet is beautiful: a bright fucshia.

The suit offered a great fit; stay-put banding along the top made sure the suit stayed where you wanted it, with or without the halter straps.  The straps attach with buttons, so they were sure to stay on if you decide to wear them, a much better option than the unsightly bulges from tucking the straps in, in my opinion.

I would consider the tummy control to be "medium", as it was not as firm as some of the suits I have.  The keyhole back is cute, adding a modern touch to a classic silhouette.

Overall a fantastic suit at an unbeatable price!!

Exactly as I hoped it would be, plus some! It wasn't apparent when I bought it, but the straps are actually removable with buttons on the inside. The top of the bodice has an ultra thin plastic strip that keeps the strapless suit up if you choose to wear it that way.  Jansen has the best quality swim wear down to the tiniest detail.

  • 8/1/2011 Great suit, but runs small

4 Review Stars By New mommy

Like most reviews stated this suit runs small. I usually wear a  four and purchased a six. If an eight would have been available I probably would have purchased that. I have a long torso and could have used a little extra length. It is a great suit though. very stylish for a one piece and hides tummy issues perfectly!

I really like this style! It hides all my areas that r not so perfect.
the color is just right with my complexion. I also can tell this is no cheap bathingsuit.

  • 11/13/2009 Wonderfly Comfortable & Flattering!

5 Review Stars By Sherry A.

I just love this suit.  I bought it for a cruise and wore it the first time to swim and lounge on the ship.  You can unbutton the halter straps, which I did, and the suit stayed up, even while swimming, without a problem.  The design really is flattering,  The shirring makes the tummy look flatter, and the straight line across the lower hip makes the upper thighs seem in proportion.  It's an eye catching suit.  My husband loves it.

  • 7/18/2011 Perfectly Pink!

    5 Review Stars By Becky

I got this suit in Rose Violet, which is really a fabulous hot pink color, which I LOVE!  I have a dark, olive skin complection, and the color really pops with my skin tone.  The cut of the suit is very becoming.  I just had a baby 6 weeks ago and decided it's time to ditch the bikini (thank you stretch marks), plus I want a more "grown up" look without sacrificing style.  This is it!  I'm 27 and this suit is still cute, young, and stylish, but still gives me the modesty and coverage I want.  You don't have to wear a bikini to turn heads.  In fact, I think I'll turn more heads in this suit than ever before.  It's just so different than what anyone else is wearing.  The style is very slimming and I like the thick halter straps, and that they're removable. I probably will only wear it strapless when I'm tanning.  It has good coverage in the back...letting just enough "cheek" hang out without being uncomfortable.  Love it love it!  What a deal I got with it being on clearance too!  Get it before it's gone!  The material is great quality too.

  • 7/18/2011 Not for every-body

    3 Review Stars By Frannie

This suit is probably great for long-torsoed women (like the model in the photo) with B-C cup bust. I am short in the torso, with D-cup bust, and the suit flattens me in an unflattering way.Just doesn't work. Not a keeper for me.

This suit is very flattering. I like that it has rubber grip around the bust area so the suit stays in place.

About This Brand

Jantzen is one of the leading producers of quality swimwear. The company owes its early success to clever marketing campaigns that began in the 1920s. Using an image of a woman wearing a red suit, stockings and a cap, Jantzen captured the attention of millions. People posted the photograph on windshields of automobiles, and it later appeared on national billboards as well as the pages of Vogue and Life magazines. In 1932, the iconic image was reported to be the seventh most known trademark in the world. Jantzen adopted it as their official logo.

In 2002, the Jantzen brand was bought by Perry Ellis International, Inc. This included the Nike and Tommy Hilfiger swimwear licenses. Perry Ellis International markets products in over forty different categories worldwide.

Styling and quality continue to drive Jantzen's position as the number one producer of branded swimwear. Its popular styles include tunics, classic maillots, tankinis, and pareos. Led by the iconic Diving Girl, the Jantzen name continues to bring you the best quality designs in women's swimwear.
