The controls on this unit work great with my Ipod.  Will be assessing the level of water proof this weekend...

  • 11/10/2008 Outstanding!

    5 Review Stars By TJ

I am a 1st time owner of both the Nano & the H20 Audio waterproof housing system. I am very impressed! I was fearful that the housing would be bulky and oversized. However, it fits the nano like a glove and is extreamly "sleek" looking.
Functionally, it works as advertised...which is no small statement...and the audio headset is competitive with many  (much more expensive), "out of the pool"  ear buds, that I have used. It sure makes those "laps" much more enjoyable!

  • 11/17/2009 Bulky

    2 Review Stars By Sunshine

This is a very bulky system. I haven't been able to attach it to my swimsuit, as mentioned by the previous reviewer. I also have a difficult time seeing the face of the iPod to make any adjustments during my set because I need to offset it on my arm, for it to sit comfortably. I haven't tried swimming fly with it on, because the plug for the earphones is huge and has gotten nudged in my side when I swim back stroke. Given the size of the iPod it is a very bulky strap and casing. On the plus side, my Nano is completely dry.

  • 11/11/2008 Music to my ears

    5 Review Stars By Rhonda

This housing works great, makes  my swim workouts much more pleasurable listening to my favorite music, it makes the time go by and sounds great in the water. This is my second housing. The first one was for a different generation Ipod and this one is great.

  • 9/22/2009 bulky, but works great

    4 Review Stars By amandamcs

I was a bit afraid to subject my IPOD to the pool, but this case works great. The only complaint I have is that the whole thing is a bit bulky once it is all together with the earplugs attached. I am not much of an armband fan, so I hooked the armband around the strap on my swimsuit and that worked good for me. Minimal problems with water getting in around the earphones--the system really functions well.

  • 12/3/2008 I love it!

4 Review Stars By James L.

This is a 4 out of 5. The only con I can think of is after using it in the water the dial is somewhat worn. Other than that great purchase!

    5 Review Stars By Jess

This product is awesome!!  I was always worried about ruining my ipod when I went kayaking or on another trip and now I don't have to.  I bought a cooler with speakers and it hooks right into it. It's perfect!

  • 4/17/2009 Think I'm Gonna Return It

4 Review Stars By Ariel L.

Everyone has said that the headphones ONLY LAST about 3-4 months!!!!! I bought a pair off ebay, but it HAS TO BE H20 Audio to work, I really don't have $120 a year to spend on headphones! I'm soooo sad!  I was REALLY looking forward to using my ipod! I hope they spend some time developing those better!

H2O Audio was founded in 2003 in San Diego, California just as a new era of digital music and portable MP3 players began to give people outstanding on-the-go audio quality. As an avid watersports lover, founder Kristian Rauhala wanted to extend this MP3-use to the pool and the ocean. Over the past ten years, H2O Audio has perfected a line of waterproof headphones and cases that are guaranteed to give swimmers and watersport enthusiasts the best possible sound experience.

Today, H2O Audio is a leader in the field of waterproof headphones and iPod accessories, creating products with superior underwater sound.
