It is longer then the last mat I bought (off brand). It lays fairly flat after being rolled for days. No curling ends. I like the color. It speaks to relaxation.

The thickness is better on the knees, but the surface seems more "slippery than sticky"

I searched for a mat that was thick enough to cushion my hands and feet when in certain positions, yet thin enough to maintain my balance, even in the dancer's pose. This mat has that perfect thickness. Beautifully crafted and designed. I tend to sprawl a bit, so my only suggestion would be to make it a few inches wider. Relaxing lavender color too!
