The finish is great, they are smooth, well-shaped blocks, but they're hollow. Very lightweight and not at all what I was expecting or looking for.

The Everyday yoga wooden block is an outstanding product. It is well finished and robust enough for anyone's practice. It is simple in construction and elegantly (and beautifully) finished. I prefer wooden blocks in my pratice and this one fills the bill admirably.
