The shelf support is not supportive, more like a courtesy liner unless you're very large chested. I ordered a large to fit my belly and that part fits well and seems like it will as I continue to grow, but at a 36C the chest part of the tankini is pretty huge. In two ways: it's far too wide around and it is too deep/long to offer any real support. Two stars are mainly for the really cute pattern and the handy cinch at the bottom. If you don't care about support or are very large chested then you'll like this more than I do.

I was looking for a maternity suit that provided enough coverage, but also didn''t look like a grandma suit. I am large busted and finding a suit that provided enough coverage and support was challenging! This suit does provide enough coverage up top, but it was almost too big. The straps seem a bit loose and I wish they were tighter to help hold me in/up a little better because there isn''t much support. The belly area fits perfect. Unfortunately, the description did not say that this was a TOP ONLY. I assumed that this included the bottoms because nowhere did it say it was just the top (other products clearly stated "top only" so I assumed this included both), but no bottoms are included. Overall it is an okay suit and it will suffice for summer, but I''m tired of looking for a suit that fits appropriately and at least this one is modest.

I teach swim lessons. I bought this suit when I was 7 months pregnant and my trusty one piece was no longer going to cut it. The best part about this top is the cincher in the bottom part. I can adjust it to fit around my hips and it stays there, no matter how I move to tread or swim after a wily 3 year old. It doesn't billow and move the way most tankinis do, it stays put. I wasn't self conscious about being exposed at all. The only issue I had with this item is that it runs a little big in the bust, I probably could have gone down a size , but its hard to tell before you try it on.
