It has sturdy seams, and holds a lot of items. There is no real seal, but one folds the top over 4-5 times, then clips the ends together. Seems to work well since even the air inside can escape (meaning that it will float when falling overboard). Unfortunately, the bag has a noticeable plastic smell, which hopefully will disappear eventually.

I use a cane and a rolling gym bag to and from my pool therapy class. This bag carries 2 large towels, water shoes and swimsuit...all WET...keeping everything else including the gym bag dry. I am just sorry that it took me 2 years to find it. I am ordering a spare.
