    DMC vs Arena Powerfin

I own both of these and tried them separate & together (One on each foot) to feel the difference. I feel the upkick more with the Arena’s and I got foot cramps consistently with the DMC’s and they hit each other while swimming which is weird. Guess which one is the winner??

Not exactly what I hoped for.

I bought these fins to replace an older pair of Hydro Finz Training fins. These were the closest I could find to those. Both have the 'V' shaped side that works well during both up/down kicking motions. I owned my wonderful Hydro Finz for over 10 years and now they are worn out. The older fins had an open toe and a regular heel. These newer fins have a closed toe and a strap heel. Also, these are quite a bit wider than my older fins, so I might not be getting as good of a workout with them. Those closed-toe rubs against my toes and caused a blister after a 1-hour open water swim. Maybe after developing some calluses this won't be a problem.

    Great Short Fins!

Recommended by my swim coach who had the original version. Hers were engineered for a right and left foot fit, while the DMC Elite II are universal for either foot. Both models are of the soft, pliable rubber-like material and flex well when training...better then my other stiffer fins. The Elite II don't cramp my feet either, and sizing chart is pretty spot on. Comes with its own netted carrying bag. Overall, great value when you use your discount.
