This trisuit features the 7mm female specific Riviera Clasico one-piece pad. It floats, which means it will help you swim faster. This unique pad stretches with the short and follows your skin as it moves while bicycling and running, eliminating the friction that can cause irritation or rashes.

I purchased this for a half Ironman distance and it did the job, especially on the bike. Very comfortable and it was dry by mile 2, but I have to give the Texas heat a little credit for that too! My only complaint would be that I practiced with this suit twice before my race and filed the instructions to wash it, yet the logo is peeling in the front and the fabric appears a little stressed around the hips and legs. I'm 5'4, 115 and purchased a small so I doubt I could stretch anything lol
All in all a good choice for triathlons.

This is my 2nd Desoto trisuit and I do love them. The one I purchased is actually a size larger than what I normally wear so technically they do run small. However, I've used them in 2 triathlons and in practice and they work very well. They dry nicely, compact fit. No padding needed for me on the bike portion. The red/black color has benefit of not showing all of your upper private parts like the turquoise one (still LOVE that color though). May want to wear a thin bra underneath so you're not surprised to see other things show up in the finish line photo like I did. But it's all in the name of sport, right?

Seasoned Triathlete always looking for a good buy on Tri gear. 5"7"' - 140lbs. The suit is nice quality. Had to send it back for a larger size. 'L'.

Had to return this item, it was too small. I am 5"4", 135 and ordered a medium, it was too small. Also, it needs a sports bra or you will have no support.

The founders of DeSoto are Emilio De Soto and Dan Neyenhuis. Emilio De Soto is a triathlete who is racing in his 27th consecutive season of triathlon competition. He is also fully immersed in his athletic lifestyle as a fitness trainer and coach. Dan Neyenhuis is an age-grouper triathlete who has been helicopter skiing for 20 years. Together, they created a company that designs cutting edge triathlon gear for triathletes, by triathletes.

DeSoto gear is designed to enhance performance in each leg of the race. The founders created the first mesh running cap, zippered tri tops, pocketed tri shorts, transition packs, tri suits, and tri shorts with discreet pads for cycling.

One of their other achievements was creating the DeSoto T1 triathlon wetsuit that is two pieces instead of one. The DeSoto T1 triathlon wetsuit was designed to make a better fit for triathletes, and each year, more DeSoto tri tops and DeSoto tri shorts are being added to the line. DeSoto is still the only company in the world that makes a two-piece triathlon wetsuit.
