DeSoto T1 First Wave Concept 5 Pullover

Third purchase of the DeSoto wetsuit since 2003. Not that I’ve needed to replace the other two—they’re still in great shape—unfortunately I can’t say the same for my own shape which has continued to grow a couple sizes! The two piece design is great and perfect if you have a bit of an irregular body type. I’m long in the torso for example and one piece wetsuits can present some fitting challenges. The two piece also allows for a zipperless and low profile neckline so no chafing. Can’t quite say I’ve noticed a difference in time improvement due to the added thickness in the arms of the concept 5 but they don’t adversely effect my swim either. Highly recommend the DeSoto wetsuits.

First of all, the type of material it's made from is different than say my Roka suit. It's so easy to take off! I'm 61, so this helps. Secondly, their suits fit ALL body types. Mine is awkward as I'm long waisted, and the flexibility in the shoulders from a separate top is great. You also don't have to worry if you gain or lose some weight, as should still fit. If you look at their size chart you will notice quite a bit of weight range within each size. Also, I wore it for the first time in 69 deg water, and I didn't even notice the water hitting my skin.
