  • 2/13/2016 GREAT but Runs Small

    4 Review Stars By g50176

I purchased this product because I am in the water for 2-3 hours a day.
It has thick, excellent quality insulation front and back (core, not arms or sides) with a zipper at the back bottom left (genius) to help with putting it on or taking it off.
I love that it also has a thick hem at the bottom that keeps it in place.

The only complaint I have is that it runs small. I am a 5'6", 145lbs, and a 32B. I usually wear a size small, so I got this in small. I know that insulator rash guards should be tight-fitting because they stretch in water, but this was TOO TIGHT a fit for its size. Go one size up.

I will be returning mine (the larger sizes are out of stock at the moment) for a larger size.

    Great product.

  • 3/10/2015 Sizing Runs Extra Large

    3 Review Stars By V

I ordered this rashgaurd in a size medium as I have other Dakine rashgaurds that are sized medium that fit me perfectly. I am 5'10", 32D, 140 lbs, so I am used to a medium being perfectly snug, which keeps me warmer in the water. This rashgaurd came in a totally different sizing then other Daking rashguards: really long in the arms and torso, and even though it has a zipper to make it easier to slide on and off, this was hardly needed as it was way way way too baggy in the torso. When I got in the water, the whole thing was swimming on me. I loved the concept of having extra warmth through the neoprene, but because the design/model for sizing is completely off from any other Dakine rashguard products, it did not have that snug fit that is needed to create extra warmth. Order 1-2 sizes down.

    5 Review Stars By JLW

Fit was great, just a little long in the sleeves but almost everything I but is too long.  I wear a size 10 and the fit was not too tight.  It was easy to get off when wet.  It kept me warm while snorkeling and keep me from getting sunburned.  I'm very happy I ordered this rashguard.

  • 11/2/2014 Nice, warm, flattering

    5 Review Stars By Ellen

I purchased this product in mint green and black. In normal clothes I typically wear a medium and sometimes a small. I ordered this in large because I didn't want it to be too tight. While it's a little big for me and the sleeves are a little too long, I love the shirt. When putting it back on wet, it's not a huge hassle and the fit is flattering. Medium would probably be a better fit but when I need to enter the water again I don't want to struggle with pulling it over my head and down my arms. The neoprene core is nice for keeping me warmer. I ordered several rash guards to try and this was my favorite.

I teach outdoor swim lessons in Idaho. This was a great insulator on the cold and windy mornings. I do wish the whole shirt was insulated, the sides are just the thinner material and the front and back is insulated but it has still been a great purchase that I do not regret at all. Awesome product!
