  • Spend hours and hours in the saddle; the Endurance Cycling Bibshort is built to handle your longest rides. With action micro fabric with prosecco treatment, Giro3 leg grippers, and Progetto X2 Air chamois, the Endurance Cycling Bibshort has all the best components in one form-fitting 8-panel short.

    • Durable action micro fabric is form fitting and abrasion resistant.
    • Side inserts in energia micro fabric.
        - LycraPower® designed with horizontal stretch provides immediate return. Energia supports muscles without constricting and its ribbed knit surface aids in aerodynamics.
    • 4-needle flat-lock stitching.
    • Color-matched Giro3 single-layer engineered gripper.
        - Integrated leg grippers.
        - Instead of stitching silicone elastic to the short, the grip material is knit directly into the short in a 5cm-wide band that gently compresses while securely holding the short in place. And it lies completely flat for improved aerodynamics, making you more comfortable and aerodynamic for speed.
    • 2 rear reflective inserts.
    • Progetto X2 air chamois for famous X2 comfort and improved air flow.
        - Skin care layer provides a four-way stretch, microdenier, seamless bacteriostatic layer made to adapt to the shape of your body and saddle without any folds in the fabric. Air flows right into the surface fabric to aid evaporation.
        - Seamless integrated technology cushioning layer is built with multi-density foam with infinitely variable thickness. The thickness of the pad is engineered to place the padding where you need it most for maximum comfort.
        - Perforated viscous padding is added under the highly sensitive ischial and perineum pressure areas.
    • Imported.

I crashed and ruined my old Castelli presto bibs that have a lower end chamois and leg grippers. I decided to go a step up and get these. I am very, very happy with my purchase. The chamois is very comfortable and the leg grippers are the best I've ever worn. They are good for very long rides.

Keep in mind when purchasing these, that castelli runs a little small. I have a 31" waist, and the medium fit perfectly.

Castelli has a rich history dating back multiple decades in the cycling community. In the 1940s, Armando Castelli, an Italian tailor, designed clothes for Gino Bartali, a famed cyclist. Designing clothes for Gino Bartali proved to be the catalyst for Armando Castelli's career. As a result of designing for a famous cyclist, one of Bartali's cycling rivals, Fausto Coppi, asked Armando Castelli to design a jersey that would make him faster in competitions. Castelli agreed and produced the first-ever silk cycling jersey.

Ever since, Castelli has become a true pioneer within cycling clothing production. Armando Castelli constantly thought about how he could improve his products which led to adding special details such as collars, pockets, and zippers. In 1977, Castelli made another innovation: the first Lycra cycling short. With a constantly evolving company, Castelli continues to create superior cycling clothing that boasts the latest technology.
