Fit is definitely snug.

My son had an awful time with chafing last year at the beach. He was in so much pain and I couldn't bear to see that happen again. This year he wore these under his bathing suit and no problems the entire week. These were a life saver! The only complaint he had once or twice was they were a bit tight in the waist, but otherwise he loved them.

Works like a charm. No more sand rash. The boys wear them under their swim trunks. They are a bit snug. We bought a size up for our boys.
