  • 12/1/2015 The best goggle for high bridged nose

    5 Review Stars By Danielle

I am a longtime wearer of Speedo's Baja goggles for lap swimming. I have a high-bridged nose so most goggles dig into the top of my nose, leaving a mark, painful and distracting during a swim! I wanted to find another goggle with a more sleek profile, edging away from the heavier (though more comfortable) goggles which fit around the outer eye socket. The Barracuda HydroBat fit my criteria perfectly. I didn't even need to wear them tightly for them to fit and not leak and they didn't leave the obvious, deep red marks around my eyes after a 45min. swim. I will purchase a second pair in a different color to keep in the rotation. Very happy!

  • 9/25/2015 Great seal. little foggy

4 Review Stars By Denise L.

I've tried several pairs of goggles, and these are the first pair that I've found that haven't leaked.  I have a little trouble with fogging, but it's manageable with a little antifog.

  • 11/2/2009 TERRIFC GOGGLES

4 Review Stars By GLEN G.

THEY FIT PRETTY SNUGGED.  NO FOG DOES NOT LAST VERY LONG - NEED TO MAKE SURE THE GOGGLES ARE REALLY REALLY DRY BEFORE WEARING THEM IN THE POOL.  BARRACUDA NO FOG DOES NOT SEEM TO WORK ON THESE GOGGLES

These goggles are the best for me. The seal is always tight, and they leave less of a ring.

the nose piece does not stay in place, and the goggles fog up immediately and often. when i  complained to barracuda, they sent me a replacement pair which has the same problems

  • 3/22/2010 Good Fit

    4 Review Stars By KK

They feel comfortable and do not leak.  They also have a limited view area.  And, they fogged up from day 1.  However, I will continue to use them since all other goggles I've tried have leaked and hurt.

About This Brand

Barracuda

An industry pioneer in innovation and design, Barracuda is passionate about designing and producing products that enhance the swimmer’s experience in the water. From triathletes in Kona and seniors at the YMCA to swim team members grinding through their daily workouts, all rely on the comfort, fit, and effectiveness of Barracuda’s remarkable breakthroughs.

Dr. John Runckel, founder and inventor of Barracuda, began swimming for fitness in 1978. The only swim goggles he could find depended on suction and dug into the soft tissue around the eye. Ordinary suction goggles were — and still are — shaped like small cups with flat rims. They don’t fit nor do they feel good; they leak and leave red circles around the eyes. A dentist and inventor who had marketed a line of dental products, Dr. Runckel combined his knowledge of plastics and facial anatomy with some casting techniques similar to those used in dentistry. The result was a goggle frame that fits because it follows the bone contour around the eye socket. The frame was patented in 1979.

Along with their signature goggles, Barracuda provides the very best is swim, pool, and beach accessories that strive to make your time in the water the best it can be.
