The most comfortable tech suit I've ever worn.  Fits great, and no one will think you're a plumber.  Sizes accurately.  The only problem, which is common to all high end tech suits, is that the compression fails after about 3 meets.  Lifetime is a problem.  A better deal might well be the Powerskin Carbon Pro (once they've got the FINA legal issues squared away)--the carbon fiber matrix in the fabric keeps things from overstretching, and that will make it last considerably longer.  Even though that one costs 50% more, it might last 2 or 3 time longer.

  • 7/10/2013 THE BEST SUIT EVER!

5 Review Stars By Mark S.

I am a college swimmer for Georgia University. I am 20 years old and I have been swimming for 13 years. I have had every technical suit out there and this one is the best suit ever! This suit has great compression and great water resistance. The arena carbon doesnt even contend to this suit. Everyone thinks it is all about price. But I am here to tell you that  isn't true. The carbon which retails at $350 dollars is just as good as the arena xp which retails at $180. But this suit for $275 is a great value for its performance. I'd pay $500 dollars for this suit. The suit does run a little small though. I usally get size 26 fastskins but i got a size 28 and it takes 20 min. to get on but that is how long it is supposed to get a technical suit on. This suit is truley the best suit ever!

i used to have the arena REVO, the REVO+ seems smaller and a lot thinner. so thin it becomes see through, i would highly recommend just buying the revo that is thicker, provides more compression and is more comfortable.

I have been using Arena for a few years now.  In my opinion there are no suits on the market that come close to the quality of Arena.  This year I decided to go from the older Evo jammer to this newer one during my D2 conference championship.  Although I put on some weight in my season, this one felt much tighter then any Arena I've worn in the past, but as my 3 day long meet went on, it loosened up proportionally.  The suit will help maximize your potential, not make you a better athlete, so don't go for it if you're not trying to make an NCAA A cut.  If you are a better swimmer, this suit in it's first few uses will create a noticeable lift in the position of your lower back and legs, and will place you in a better position on the surface of the water.  This I feel is the suit's greatest advantage, aside from the incredible compression.  At the end of my conference championship i noticed some of the waistband was coming apart, and the rubber strands were becoming exposed.  I just wish that for the price you would get a better use out of it.  Highlight of my weekend in this suit was going from a best time of 1:42.81 to a 1:40.87 in the 200 free.  In season without a technical suit my best had been a 1:46.55. Hope this helps, i'll be buying a Carbon if I make Nationals.

  • 3/27/2012 Good suit but....

4 Review Stars By T Mas

I bought this suit for last years championship meet and i did really like it for the following reasons. The suit did a great job at keeping my legs up and did repel water for a solid amount of races. BUT. The fabric is very thin/basically see through. It lost its compressiveness and wore out quite fast.
The suit was great for the first few races, but i just feel like for this price it should be a little more durable. I dropped time, but worth almost 300 dollars, not sure if its worth it.

The suit was overall quite good although I did feel that because they ran a bit small that the stretching of the fabric did affect the longevity of the suit. I would recommend getting the suit size you normally wear or to be on the safe side, a size larger.
