  • 11/29/2016 Great Christmas Gift!

    5 Review Stars By Surfergirl

Santa asked me to get this suit for a special young lady since he was super busy.  Santa knows that she has been working hard to cut her times.  I'm sure that she will love this special gift. Who wouldn't want an Arena competition suit?

  • 12/18/2013 ARENA SIZING

    4 Review Stars By swimmom1000

We just ordered this Arena, first time wearing an Arena tech suit. My daughter has always worn Speedo tech suits (Lazer) because our year round team is sponsored by Speedo. We ordered this one for her high school state meet.  Let me just warn you that the sizing is very different from Speedo tech suits! My daughter wears a 24 in a laser, so I went up one size in the Arena to a 26 (had heard they run small).  She couldnt even get in a 26. I returned it and ordered a 30 which is her practice suit size. I read somewhere that in an Arena to order practice suit size. We received the size 30 and it fit well...the only place it was a little big was the chest area.  The Arena suits don't stretch in the way the Speedo suit does so I encourage you to order bigger than Speedo size.  Once on, the suit gave wonderful compression!  She has not worn it yet in a meet, but I'm anxious to see how it performs.  She said it felt great on compared to the Speedo which is paper thin.  Again, I believe the Arena gives greater compression than speedo which is important for girls.

  • 11/4/2016 Great Kneeskin!

4 Review Stars By Swim Mom

We bought this for my 12 y/o daughter who typically wears a 28. Even though most kneeskins are suppose to be tight and difficult to put on...a 28 was impossible to put on. We watched videos and recommendations and after 30 min she finally got it on but the straps dug into her shoulders. To the point of it being painful to move. We sent it back and ordered a 30 and it fit perfectly. She loves it. She feels she's much faster in it as well. All in all it's a great looking suit, does the job...but I feel it runs a bit small. Would have been 5 stars if we didn't have to return it for a bigger size.

  • 1/6/2014 Arena Sizing: One Arena size does not apply to all Arena products!

2 Review Stars By Swimmer girl

The swimmer wears a 25-26 practice suit.  We started with the Arena Pro (size  22)--a perfect snug fit with no growing room.  The swimmer is five feet and  98#.  We upgraded to the Carbon Pro and selected the same size since the brand was unchanged.  Wrong!  The 22 Carbon Pro was way too small.  It was returned.  At a later date, the swimmer had a chance to try on the Carbon Pro in an exhibition.  A perfect fit was 24!  Do not deviate far from actual size!  Charts are helpful but Arena sizing in one design does not ensure fixed size for all Arena products.

  • 7/13/2016 Excellent

    5 Review Stars By Maria

Very good compression, the material feels good too. I particularly like it better than the speedo lzr x I had before because that was very thin material. Minor problem was the color was a little different than what I expected

    5 Review Stars By Suzy

This seems like an amazing suit, but be careful when ordering  your size. I wear a size 25 in my LZR but I couldn't even get a size 32 of the arena over my butt! If you have a butt or boobs I don't suggest this suit, because it doesn't stretch when you are putting it on. But if you have a straight figure, go for it. I've read that it is a really fast suit!

  • 5/17/2016 Runs small but worth it getting the bigger size

    5 Review Stars By Raquel

I'm 5'2 with big hips, small boobs, and broad shoulders. I usually fit a size 26 in tech suits but this one DOES NOT STRETCH AT ALL!!!!! I got a size 30 and with a little help from two other swimmers and 20 mins, we were able to get it on. I wore this suit to college conference and swam about six-ten events later I wore it too state swimming three relays. By the second relay, it began to feel like it was getting a little loose which is normal. Love the color and suit! Definatly recommend it!

  • 4/2/2014 Best suit on the market right now

5 Review Stars By NE Coach

Absolutely the best suit on the market right now.  Be wary of how tight this suit runs; will be equal to your practice suit or possibly one size up.  This suit does not stretch and runs small.  Worth the price.

  • 3/2/2016 great first suit!

    5 Review Stars By hannah

For my team, we aren't allowed to get kneeskins until we are 13 unless you have a coach's permission. I bought this suit from a local vendor during beginning of a summer meet during 2015. It was my first kneeskin, and I didn't know much about them at that point. The guy who I bought it from was helpful, and fortunately let me try on the right sizes to make sure the suit fit right. I tried on a 26, but neither me or anyone else on my team can get it over their butt except for one girl (who is literally a stick). I then tried on a 28 because that's my usual practice suit size. I was told beforehand that Arenas don't have a lot of compression in the chest area as a Speedo does. (I had borrowed a friends old LZR at a previous meet) I put the suit on and it felt great everywhere but was slightly loose in the chest area. Please note that I have curves and large thighs so I would've gotten a 26 but I would've ripped it trying to get it over my butt. For the first time you wear it, you're gonna want to warm up before with it on so you can get used to flipping and kicking with it. After I got used to the strange sensation of having something squeezing the life out of my thighs, it felt great! The suit has lasted over 6 meets, at least 3 with prelims and finals suit ups, and still acts almost brand new! It has almost been a year and I still continue to use the suit because it is in such good shape. Arenas are known for lasting longer and not stretching or ripping like LZRs. My team is sponsored by Speedo but our coach has told us to wear Arenas because they are so much better and last so much longer! My only issue with the suit is the loose bust area. Everytime I swim, I have to make sure my suit is pulled up as far up my neck as possible or water would come in! If you are looking for a first kneeskin that will last a long time, get an Arena carbon pro and you won't regret it! Also, if you are ordering this suit or coming from a Speedo to this, order true to practice suit size, not "kneeskin" sizing!

  • 11/8/2014 Arena Sizing

    4 Review Stars By Andrea

I am a size 28/30 in practice suits but when I got a Speedo LZR I got it in a size 24 which is perfect for me but when I got the Arena I supposed it would be about the same and I ordered it for high school regional championships. But when I went to swim with it at regionals I added 4 seconds on my 200 IM because the shoulders were too tight and it was impossible to squeeze my butt in the suit. I had a friend help me put on my suit and it fit but swimming with it was a whole other story. I am currently returning the suit for a bigger size I am thinking size 28.
