I am small, 5'2" and 111 lbs, so it has plenty of room. I float in my pool and read normally. However, this is more of a naptime float. Keeps you somewhat in the water so you stay cooler.

This is a great little float for smaller adults. I am 5’ 7” and when I place my knees on the tube the other tube near my head should fit the back of my neck but is several inches down my back. So if your average height it is good, but taller will not fit as comfortably.
