  • 4/27/2016 Best yoga leggings ever

5 Review Stars By Colorado yogi

This was my first Anjali purchase and I feel in love with the fit, the fabric and the durability.
These leggings are constantly getting washed as I want to wear them at every practice. I need more and so do you! Try them out - they rock!

    3 Review Stars By Joanna

The recycled plastic bottles material is something I have never come across before. It definitely has its own feel/"hand." I ordered Anjali capris in Tossed Roses and Teeki leggings in Eagle Feather. I was surprised that with as much spandex as is in them, they don't support, or hold me in, more. They are thin, comfortable and allow me full range of yoga movements, but I think for my future yoga pants, I'll look for more traditional stretchy, supporting materials.

Anjali founders Kristinn and Julissa first started talking about a yoga inspired clothing line shortly after their first Yoga class in 2000. They were both designers at large companies in New York and were doing really well in their careers. Yoga though, captured their hearts and it was a conversation they had for six years until they finally made it a reality.

Kristinn and Julissa wanted a place where they could be creative and could have fun; they wanted to make their clothes in the US. They wanted to be ethical in their business and to be environmentally and socially responsible. They aslo wanted to be about people and work with like-minded individuals that they like and respect. Even after expanding distribution from a single Yoga studio in New Jersey to hundreds of stores across the US and around the world, they still run their business this way.

Anjali makes the clothes they are looking for. They are not necessarily meant for a single end use but rather a piece of clothing that you can take from a Yoga Class to lunch, or from a hike to pretty much any activity you are in the mood for. They select fabrics that feel good against the skin and are in alignment with a life style vision of what they strive to cultivate in their own Yoga practice. They design artwork that reminds them, and all that see it, of the inherent beauty and goodness that resides in each and every person.

Anjali is a family company committed to providing the best service possible. They absolutely guarantee the quality of their clothes which are sweat shop free and are primarily made by their company in the New York City and Los Angeles areas, or in fair trade facilities by their partners.
