Accusplit Eagle 625 Memory Stopwatch with Lanyard

I am a swim team coach of 20 years. I have used a number of different watches with multi split functions to catch split times on distance events as well as multiple swimmer finishes. This watch is just okay. The buttons feel a bit chintzy in my opinion. The memory recall button is a pain. When you taking multiple splits you can recall put through the memory recall, however once you do that you can't reset the watch without holding down the memory recall button for like 15 seconds. There isn't that much time to reset the stopwatch when you're going from heat to heat of swimmers. I guess it's supposed to be a safety feature to make sure you don't accidentally delete your times. However someone who is familiar with a stopwatch will not do that very often. And even with that said even if you clear the times you can still recall them until you start the next time. Finis or ultra are much better watches.

The workings of this watch are not intuitive, and they are not normal for this type of watch. I am not entirely sure this watch is working properly. There is much of the watch where I can push buttons for days and they just don't work and I have to go back in to the modes and scroll through in order to get it back to a point where I can reset the stopwatch. I can't imagine how this it's something that was intended by the makers. I am thinking this is just sloppy manufacturing and poor workmanship in this particular model.
