Facility Description: The Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swim Center’s mission is to provide a premiere competitive, recreational, and educational aquatic facility. The pool is considered to be one of the fastest pools in the country, hosting many premier events, including NCAA championships, USA Swimming Championships, Arena Pro Series and USMS Spring Nationals in 1988 and 2008. The facility features one 50 meter by 25 yard competion pool and a separate 25 yard x 25 yard diving well. The pool can also be configured for training to provide 30 SCY lanes.

Registered Masters Progran Since: TXLA and its predecessor club Texas Aquatics has been a continuously active club for 35 years. We have hosted the 1988 and 2008 USMS Spring Nationals.

Fun Team Fact? Longhorn Aquatics Masters train alongside other programs, including the championship collegiate teams from the University of Texas. We have witnessed multiple classes of NCAA champions and Olympic gold medalists. We see the 21 NCAA championship banners hanging from the rafters each day we train. We also have gotten to know the University of Texas coaching staff, including Hall of Famer Eddie Reese who regularly imparts his wit and wisdom to members of the Masters program.
