SwimOutlet Triathlon Team Wraps up Season

We may be swim junkies around here, but we also love our multi-sports and we have been sponsoring a local SwimOutlet Triathlon Team for two years running here in Northern California. Turns out, we partnered with a heck of a group of triathletes and they had another stellar season in 2016, notching some impressive performances across the board.

The 10-man squad recorded dozens of podium finishes and a handful of overall victories. Jack Calhoun led the charge, finishing first at the Half Moon Bay Triathlon in April. Calhoun also turned in an extraordinary performance at the legendary Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon where he finished third in the elite field. Ah-may-zing! The 27-year-old accomplished his pre-season goal of earning his professional license thanks to his outstanding results.

Evan Rudd also had a solid season, taking first place overall at the Folsom Triathlon in June and third at Half Moon Bay. Rudd took on two Half Ironman races and finished his third full Ironman in August at Ironman Mont Tremblant (Quebec, Canada), where he clocked a time of 10:12, cutting a big chunk off his personal best.
