Shields Edges Phelps in Thriller at U.S. Nationals - Arena Performance of the Month
WOW! It doesn't get much more exciting then this. Tom Shields touches out Michael Phelps to win the 100m butterfly at the 2014 Phillips 66 Nationals. Shields' victory by one-hundredth of a second over the 18-time Olympic champion who is made his return to nationals after 2 years was as exciting as they come earning him Arena POTM honors for August.

6 years ago.Didn't see Phelps shake Shield's hand or congratulate him at any point, including the medal ceremony. What a jerk!!
