  • 7/11/2020 Best fins

    5 Review Stars By Sandrayoga

These fins relieve the knee pressure and keep your abs working like they are supposed to when you swim. Best fins ever but you have to have the right fit because they are molded.
I am happy with a size larger than the chart suggests

10/24/2018 These fins are a dream!

    5 Review Stars By Bethany

I'm a  middle-aged Masters swimmer and my coach has us use fins almost every practice. I have a number of chronic issues (knees, feet, calves and glutes) that can get flared up or exacerbated by fins, so I often try to moderate my effort when wearing them. I had been eying these for a couple of years and finally bit the bullet after suffering from glute spasms for a couple weeks. These fins are very different and took some getting used to,  but I am *loving* them right now.

Why they rock: since they make your feet float, they help reinforce a better body position. They also encourage a more natural kick (small and fast) while most fins cause you to kick deeper and slower. So it's a great training tool that makes me a lot faster without causing strain. Kind of magical!

What they're not good for: If your goal is to strenghthen your legs, go for a traditional short training fin or use a kickboard without fins. I don't get a great leg workout with these, but that's fine by me.

A note on fit: The actual fin has sizing embossed on it (see photo) that differs from the chart on this website. The stamped sizing on the fin is spot on. I wear a 7.5 womens and the XS is perfect. According to the chart provided by, the fins run large...order a smaller size, unless you have very wide feet.

I use these for lap swimming at our local pool.  They are so light that they float on the surface while I am swimming and cause me to keep my legs and body straighter and thus make for a better workout. they seem to strengthen my legs and hip area.  I wear a ladies size 8 and i bought an XS, which was just perfect.
I look forward to taking them with me when i travel, because they are so light.

  • 8/17/2017 Fins Have Changed!

2 Review Stars By Lap Swimmer

I have been using this brand and size small fins to swim laps for YEARS .  The latest ones I purchased were heavier and the size was smaller.  I am assuming the manufacturer is different and materials and sizing are different. Was disappointed in weight being heavier and size being smaller since I chose these fins for their lightness and can thus avoid problems with my knees while lap swimming and of course the smaller cut will contribute to blisters. PLEASE BRING BACK OLD FIN SPECIFICS.

Perfect for open water training.  Exceeded all of my expectations.

  • 10/1/2014 Extremely lightweight. True to size.

    5 Review Stars By Geneva

I decided to try these flippers after undergoing two knee surgeries this year.  I kept reading how lightweight these were and I thought that it would be good for my knee.  You know, not quite so heavy on the knees as other flippers can be.  So I tried them.  And I really like them!  I don't have to use the flipper booties that I always have to wear with heavier flippers.  And they don't cause blisters.  They fit true to size for me.  Great flippers for a great price!  A+A+A+

  • 6/7/2020 I am glad I bought two sizes as the L was too small for my size 12 feet.

    4 Review Stars By RegenTim

Not sure of sizing I ordered L and XL for the fins.  Glad you are so good about returns so I could turn them around after a quick try on inside... thanks. The ease of ordering, and returning if not right is so great as one of your customers.

I appreciate your policy of pro-customer service!!

4 Review Stars By Water Lover

These are lightweight fins - great when you have a load of stuff to carry to the pool.  I ordered a bigger size than my normal size since the reviewers suggested that and my fins fit perfectly (I wear women's size 11 and I got size Large).  I am still not used to these fins when I swim on my side - they are difficult for me to control.  My PT suggested that I need to tighten my lower core more and these fins would be good for that.  (My shoulders are wrecked which is why I swim without using my arms much and use fins to move more quickly.)
