  • 6/5/2015 Fantastic Boardshort at a Fantastic price!

    5 Review Stars By Jamie

These are awesome boardshorts!  Fit true to size, hang just right and are soft as a baby's bottom.  They'll dry before you get back to your chair, are durable, and the red is super bright!  I love them for surfing, swimming, hanging out, or working as a lifeguard in a chlorine pool.  They stay bright red even in the chlorine!

5 Review Stars By Waiting for summer!

While I haven't been able to test-drive these shorts in the water yet (still have snow on the ground), they look great and are very comfortable.  Seems like quality fabric and construction.  I ordered the solid red, which is a gorgeous red (strong, but not in-your-face/look at me red).  I'm generally a 32 or 33 waist, depending.  Based on advice from others, I opted for the larger size and glad I did - they fit perfectly.

  • 12/16/2014 Look good but ride too low.

    2 Review Stars By Vance

They look good and claim to have a 22" outseam but the inseam was too long making them ride really low even if i had them pull up as high as physically possible.  Any time I sat down my rear would show. Im a really tall guy.

    Fit: Feels too small

  • 11/24/2014 It's Carnival Turquoise!

    5 Review Stars By John

Dries fast!  Double looped drawstring is a bit more of a pain than a single loop, especially since the velcros do a pretty good job by them selves.

More From O'NEILL

Jack O'Neill began surfing in 1952, before functional surf apparel was invented. While working for the Army Air Corps, O'Neill discovered neoprene foam in a DC-3 airplane. He then combined the neoprene carpeting with duct tape to create the first neoprene wetsuit.

Demand for O'Neill's neoprene wetsuits grew rapidly and he began a business selling the O'Neill wetsuits out of his garage. By 1980, he was a leader in the beach apparel industry with a thriving business. Since then, O'Neill™ has become a widely recognized and respected brand in the surf industry, continually creating new and innovative products. In addition to O'Neill wetsuits, they carry O'Neill boardshorts, O'Neill dresses, O'Neill hats, O'Neill rash guards, O'Neill swimsuits, O'Neill water shoes, O'Neill sandals, O'Neill life jackets and O'Neill t-shirts.

In addition to his business success, O'Neill also created a non-profit foundation for kids. O'Neill developed the O'Neill Sea Odyssey Program: a free, educational cruise that introduces kids to the microbiology of the Monterey Bay Marine Sanctuary, beginning at Jack O'Neill's doorstep.
