Sporti Guard Rescue Can

Sporti Guard Rescue Can

rating star Works for me

By Ernest from Athens, Ga on 7/16/2014

Size: NA

I am 6''4" tall, 225 pounds. The belt fits well around my waist. The tether only occasionally can be felt by my legs or feet. Float is very light. I use it for swimming in a lake while solo training.

Poolmaster Classic Chrome/Brass Thermometer

Poolmaster Classic Chrome/Brass Thermometer

rating star Disappointing

By Marti from Venice, FL on 7/15/2014

Size: NA

The thermometer is a lovely piece. It is well constructed and the numbers are large and easy to read. However, the plastic covering has become cloudy after only a short time and it is hard to read. I was hoping an expensive piece would not have that issue like the cheap ones.

FINIS Tempo Trainer Pro

FINIS Tempo Trainer Pro

rating star Works fine, stays on goggles strap with a slight adjustment.

By Dean Y from Fremont, CA on 7/14/2014

Size: NA

After having the TTP drop off my goggles strap a couple of times, I fixed the issue using a rubber band:

1. With the TTP in the holder, slide a rubber band under the clip.
2. Slide your goggles strap under the clip next to the rubber band.
3. Double the rubber band and place the new loop under the clip.

The goggles strap will be sandwiched between the rubber band loops and will not move. Problem solved!

I''ve used my TTP for a few weeks with no battery problems so far. While I sometimes use mode 3 for sprint sets, most of the time I use mode 2. I can think of one improvement that could be made for mode 2: It would be great if the TTP had the ability to make two different tones and would emit binary tone sequences to count laps for you rather than just emitting 3 monotone beeps on every lap. Right now, mode 2 is not much better than using the pace clock.

Sporti 40

Sporti 40" Guard Rescue Tube

rating star Alternative to Swim Safe device for Open Water swimmer

By Lwong from Pleasanton Ca on 7/11/2014

Size: NA

Purchased to tow along on open water swims. Modified webbing by adding a buckle to webbing so that I can wear it comfortably around waist. Comfortable, no drag and makes me visible to boats in the open water plus it is a good rescue device should it be needed for yourself or swim partners.
