I got this because I needed a backup cap. My main cap is silicone and I like it but I thought I would try this one. It is good but I like the silicone better. I keep this in my swim bag in case I tear or misplace the other one. It kept my hair fairly dry (not as well as my silicone cap but pretty close) but it was a little more uncomfortable for some reason (probably just me being used to silicone). I also wanted a "fun" kind of cap and liked the shark LOL

the material is very thin, so I am not sure how durable it would be, but it is easy to put on and take off and does not pull my girls hair...
