I ordered a black Fox 40 and you sent me a white one. I can't use it. I need black to referee volleyball. It would be more cost and trouble to exchange it than it's worth, so I am just out.

I am a PE teacher and I use the whistle relentlessly! I love that the whistle can be washed in the dishwasher, so I can use it forever! the rubber molding around the mouthpiece is great to ward off any teeth marks.

The whistle doesn't have a very strong sound. The pitch is high, but looses its tone when you blow the whistle for more than a second.

Fox 40 whistles always deliver! Loud piercing sound, great colors, great construction. The lanyard has wonderful quality and looks. The only possible problem is the rubber teeth grip is very large. I have a large mouth myself so this is fine, but if you don't then you may want the Fox40 mini.

Comparing to other whistle that dont have the pad around the mouth piece, this whistle excells in comfort, grip, and easy controlabilty. Perfect for any lifeguard in my opinion.
One bad thing I have noticed, is that the pad will wear off over a period of time.
