I purchased these to fit my 18 month old grandson''s ears and protect them whie swimming. I had never used earplugs prior to this so I was a novice. I read the directions and followed them as they explained. The only thing I realized right away was that I needed to apply more pressure to have them make a seal then I thought I would have to do. I did this very carefully though and I suggest that anyone using these should also be aware of the needed pressure while assuring the child''s safety. These were the perfect size for his little ears, he didn''t seem to mind them in his ears during our entire swimming session and the best thing was that they are in bright neon colors. Just before getting out of the pool I noticed one had come out and it was easy to spot the neon pink at the botom of the blue pool.

I am an adult and I use these ear plugs. I used to buy them from Sports Authority for more money. Swimoutlet has the best prices ever!! The product is great and the price can't be beat.

These earplugs were not meant for a competitive swimmer. These are appropriate for a small child who is playing in pool, not a child that is 10 years old or older that is practicing three to four times a week. The plugs are not thick enough to provide protection or a seal to keep water out for a child with tubes in his ears.
