They do a fine job, are comfortable to hold and give sufficient boyancy but with random depressions on the surface, look a little crude. It's as if they bought some discarded raw material for fashioning them. Price is decent but not particularly so - I bought my kids a Speedo kickboard with a tie-dye/blue pattern for $5.99 in an end-of-season sale just a week before I bought these thinking they might be bigger. They were not :-( - same size as the kids' one.

The board is advertised as red and blue, it is really more orange and blue.  I hate orange, so I am not real thrilled with the color.  I should have paid better attention to the size if they listed it.  The board is a little small.  Plus the grips looked like they went all the way through, but they are just indentations.  Not my favorite purchase.

I bought it just 'cuz it was cheap.  The boad itself is kind of floppy, but it sustains me in the water as I do laps.  I'd rather have a stiff boad, but this one does what it's supposed to I guess.

I use my kickboard to do different kinds of kicks to work out my legs, glutes, and abs.  I also sit on it and use it to power myself through the water with my arms, using front strokes and then back strokes.  It's like weight lifting but a lot more fun and cooler in the water.  I've had 4 back surgeries and my doctors all tell me to swim.  This is a fantastic product for the small price I had to pay for it.
