I use this thing every day in the pool for my wokrout.  Before I had to make sure the iPod wasn't turned up too loud with the speaker system I was using and bothering the neighbors. I can now concentrate on my work out and not worry about the dog knocking my iPod into the pool. I just love it and would recommend it to anyone who will be using their iPod in or near water.

I've been using the waterproof housing for the past week while swimming at the gym and it keeps my ipod completely dry.  You do have to put a little goo (it comes with) on it after you've after you've opened and closed it every 5 times to keep it waterproof, but that's no biggie.   I swim longer and faster listening to music so this is great!

I use the waterproof housing to listen to music in the hot tub.  I've had no problems with leaking.  Using the controls is a little hard, but workable.  It would be nice to be able to turn the shuffle on and off without having to open the housing.

I clip the waterproof casing  to my strap of my swimsuit and then put on the headphones and go....I have a bit of a fit issue with the headphones but it is all cool...

This water proof housing is so GIGANTIC that it might not fit in my swim bag!
It covers my entire palm (avg woman) with some hanging over!
I was outraged when I saw the size, I can't believe I bought an i-pod shuffle so I could put it into the housing.
Also, if you use any other waterproof headphones it is then only water resistant.
What a huge let down!
