This towel is more like a chamois for drying off cars. They need to change the material. I washed the towel in Tide Free Detergent and now the material is like plaster of Paris cast material when it is dry. I contacted TYR and they said that the towel can not be washed in detergent. They suggested to wet the towel down and store it damp in the container, but that defeats the purpose of having a clean and dry towel. If you buy this towel, do not wash the towel in detergent, or the towel will be unusable. TYR needs to have a list of detergents printed on the container that are safe for washing the towel.

It was not what I expected. I should have read the details better. I expected it to be something like microfiber . I will give it a try but I don't think I will like it.
