I was disappointed to find I couldn't use them; they were about med. or heavy weight and too much resistance, since I'm retraining my arm and hand after a stroke. I would have benefitted from knowing ahead what weight resistance they were.

I'm recovering from a stroke and retraining my left arm as well as my hand grip. The grip was great but the overall weight in the water was too much for me. It was about equivalent to a "large' in standard barbell. It would help, in selecting a product, to have resistance measured, standardized, & cited in product description but until then, the company or distributor could make a comparisom such as I did after paying for the product.

I needed a light weight barbell that I could still grip. I'm recovering from a stroke and re-training my arm. These are great on grip but too "heavy" under water for my current purpose. I think resistance should be rated and advertised with products.

I have arthritis in my hands and had to try something different in my water aerobics class. So glad to find these, much more comfortable than the regular water weights.

Great ergonomic feel in your hand, way better than trying to hold on to a piece of PVC pipe. Have a nice feel going through the water, you can hold them differently for new effects. Clubs with water aerobics should switch to these buoys, because when the swimmers use them as a pull-buoy they don't fall apart like the old foam buoys.
