probably better to try the product on new suit, rather than one that is already chloring affected
Suit Solutions does seems to do a very good job on killing the Chlorine smell. Easy to use. Just put a capful in a sink full of cold water, swish around a bit. Rinse or not, depends on you. I usually rinse. Chlorine smell is gone, and it suit does not have a high-perfume smell after treatment. Now, I haven't been using this suit rinse for long enough to say how it does on preventing fading. Previously, I used Slosh, which is a sudsy cleaner. I like that better, but it wasn't available so I tried Summer Solutions....
So far, this product has saved my swimming suits. I go to a very warm pool 3 times a week. I can't wash my suit until I get home which can be a couple of hours sometimes. The only thing I wish is that the container was bigger. It didn't last very long.
Just used this item and so far it seems to work very good on my grandsons swim trucks. There was no chlorine odor once I put it into the solution. I will buy more of this item later on.
Product doesn't have to be removed with a final clear rinse. Nice feature.
I used the suit solutions for years and was able to pass on practice suits from one daughter to another. Recently I decided to forego using it and just rinsed suits out with water. I found that the practice suits soon stretched out and faded -- something that never happened before. I'm a true believer in the product.
