i bought this bag about a year ago, and i am on a year round swim team. its pretty good, but this white material hardend on the zippers, an i wasnt able to open the pockets!! also, a zipper snaped in half, and one broke off of the bag. it is very big, but tends to break easily. i have had about 3 speedo backpacks, and they had no problems, until about 3 years later, they started to fray, but that was after about 3 years. if i were you, i would get a speedo backpack, they are much more durable, and cheeper.

When the bag is not full to capacity it wears uncomfortably on your back. Not a good thing for commuters who walk or ride to the pool. Water bottle compartment could be more snug.

I have about 9 practices and i bought this a year ago. The bottum of the bag is competely ripping up but no holes. I still use it and like it. If the bag isnt packed full then the bag slumps and doesnt really stand on its own...

From the description we thought the entire lower part (black) of the backpack would be waterproof. Be aware - only the actual bottom surface (approx. 12"x12" square) is waterproof-type material.

I use this daily for regular gym activity- not swimming. It's roomy but fits in a standard gym locker. I had a shoulder injury and needed a backpack style. Docked one Star for the U-shaped zipper at the front - it feels like it'll jam easily, it's difficult to advance. Overall, very satisfied, though.
