I bought these not knowing for sure if my first pair were the poly or the nylon. (I had cut the tags off, and they were faded anyway). These are the nylon and are a little less pliable that the poly equivalent from Nike. I like them though and they are confortable. My poly shorts stretched before they wore out. I think these will wear out about the same time as being stretched out just gauging from the first signs of wear after 5-6 times in the pool. They are comfortable though and I would recommend them.

Nike suits use heavier fabric it seems to me which is more comfortable., and I have been using one for about two years of water aerobics which is still servicable. I hope this one also lasts as long.

The Nike swim suits fit me so much better than any other brand. I'm guessing it is because they are bigger in the bum, rise higher in the back, and they have a flat (wider) waist line. I'm a triathlete and my bum is bigger than most skinny swimmers. Therefore, I seek-out the Nike suits. And what more needs to be said about a polyester training jammer? I look good, it fits me well, and it should last me many months longer than a regular race suit.

My son always wears nike jammers but this pair just is not that good at all. The material is way to see through. Will still buy other Nike jammers though. Just not this kind again.
