I have the Speedo"shark skin" suit..it really keeps you warm in the pool which I need..I have not tried this one yet so I just will tell you how it fits..it's much easier to get on than either the Phelps suit or the Shark suit..they are SUPER tight and rip easily..this is bathing suit material , so it has "give"..and I love the detail of the chest & butt outlines,great!..I run @ mile in the pool..and do SUPER aquaerobic excercises...get the "EYE GLANCES" with these suits for some reason! :-)
for swimming
fits well, good buy
This fits well and feels good out of the water, and great that it can be used many times, but it just doesn't compete with other technical suits on the market. It is great for a long course 50 or a short course 25, but if the top of your back is arched, like many swimmers, at the turn it easily fills up with a heavy pocket of water because the zipper area doesn't mold to your body like the rest of the suit. For a less competitive swimmer, this would be a good buy, but it doesn't compete with the more expensive suits of its kind.
I use the suit in meets only. Works great.
I originally bought an FS Pro but couldn't get into it. This suit fit real well and is comfortable. I was shocked at the extra speed I got with the suit. Probablly 2-3 seconds faster per 100 than a jammer! I thought the lower price would mean an average suit. I have not tried other body suits but there is a big difference with this suit.Note: I'm a masters swimmer age 49. Best meet 500 time at 5:50. I ran a 5:48 in mid practice off the wall at 85% with the suit.Only issue I have is that the instructions for washing are vague. "hand wash cold water" Water only? No detergent?
