With the zipper ending the opposite way, the scratchiness of the zipper gave my daughter a rash that someone called a "suit hicky." We will need to put a piece of clothe at the top to make it not scratch her each time she wears it.
This suit did not stand up in my water polo matches. The rubberized grab spots ripped first. Thank goodness my team provides the suits as I went through 3 of them in a season. I would not recommend this suit to a higher level player where grabbing is imminent. Fit great,good coverage,didn't ride up too much. Length through the torso was good, just not a good suit for my level of play.
I have discovered a great secret: WATER POLO suits for pool running/aerobics are strong, supportive, and look great. And, as opposed to other suits that pretty much dissolve in the chlorine, these babies NEVER wear out. The high neck might not suit everyone, but I love it. Has a back zipper. This is my third water polo suit. The "leather" edges are really nice looking. A++ and thanks, Speedo!
I am a returning lap swimmer, and am in the water for 4 1/2 to 5 hours four to five days a week, usually for 10 or more miles depending on stroke(s) used. This suit has been my all-time favorite - and this comes from much experience and many years, I am 66. I would love to find more in my size, but they have been discontinued. I have put a few in my closet so I have a few more months of great swimming. They last and last, are comfortable, impossible to zip without a team, but there is always a pair of helping hands in my club locker room.
I really love this swimsuit. I was worried about it not having a bra inside since I have a large chest but because it is so snug the support is there. Zipping the swimsuit alone is a little tricky with the zipper going down the back. It took a little practice to be able to reach to zip it up and down. I swim often so I was looking for a swimsuit that is chlorine proof, so time will tell if this holds up to its claim. I would recommend this highly to anyone looking for a supportive and well covered swimsuit.
I have a large bust, and I like having a suit that covers me. This suit fits snugly without feeling restrictive. I've had a TYR water polo suit before, but the fabric gets all stretched out really quickly. This suit is made of different fabric, and it feels great!
