Featuring the next wave of technical suit construction, the POWERSKIN Carbon Pro Jammer delivers minimum surface drag, water repellent coating and low profile bonded seams for a suit that takes racing to a whole new level. To deliver a breakthrough solution to the compression challenge, Arena has incorporated carbon fiber into the weave of the POWERSKIN Carbon Pro fabric.
- Short leg jammer.
- Intelligent muscle compression:
- Yarns of stretch fabric are woven across a special net entirely made of carbon.
- This protective grid regulates stretching and stiffens when the fabric reaches a critical stress level.
- Stiff, strong Carbon fibers combined with high stretch 'lock-out' when a critical stretch level is reached.
- Increases support and control where needed.
- Power return construction:
- Strategic placement of internal tapes and low profile bonded seams ensure maximum power out of dives and turns.
- Unprecedented fit and free, easy feeling against the skin.
- Internal tapes on the legs aid 'spring back' action following each kick and turn.
- Tapes also assist in stretching prior to your race.
- Internal tapes placed at key areas provide maximum power out of dives and turns.
- Optimum fit and freedom of movement remain at all times.
- Minimum surface drag.
- Ultimate drag reduction.
- Water repellent coating.
- Low profile bonded seams.
- Mechanical resistance and durability:
- Integrated carbon threads ensure a stronger, more powerful fabric.
- Reduced chance of tear when putting it on.
- Carbon fibers help neutralize electrostatic discharge on muscles.
- POWERSKIN Carbon Pro endures stretch while remaining comfortable against the skin.
- Maximum compression for support and control.
- Improved surface integrity:
- High-performance woven fabric reinforced with carbon fiber delivers the ultimate strength-to-weight ratio for combined speed and power.
- Preservation of the integrity of the suit's surface in turn maximizes drag reduction and optimizes water repellency.
- Outer shell: 52% Nylon / 47% Elastane / 1% Carbon.
- Inside lining: 65% Nylon / 34% Elastane / 1% Carbon.

With tech. suits, it has been hard for me to gage what size I should buy because they do not stretch compared to regular suits. Even though the suit I bought is still a bit small, I think for racing that won''t be a problem.

I ordered one size down, but I then had to return it because it was too small. The product is great. It worked really well for me in my breaststroke events and fits nicely everywhere. It''s overall a great suit.

This suit feels different in its compression in that it holds your muscles rather than squeeze them. The first few times wearing this suit, you may have a hard time putting it on, and your balls are going to feel like they''re about to pop, but after warming up a bit and wearing the suit for a while, it will feel better. Definitely DO NOT size down as you would for any other tech suit, as this will be impossible to put on otherwise. Also, it seems quite durable, I have worn mine for about 20 races and the suit still feels as tight as when i first got it. Also, this suit relies more on compression than repellency so it still feels really buoyant and fast even when it loses the beautiful silver sheen :) Despite the cost, I recommend this suit as long as it is in your budget.
