The H2O man is a fantastic product for the pool. I swim laps (crawl stroke only) for 30 minutes and can't imagine doing it without the H2O man. It is easy to download mp3's to the unit; the AAA battery lasts a couple of weeks on my schedule. If you have small ear canals there might be some discomfort in setting the earphones. I found that the wires flopped around too much for my taste when using the armband holder, so I attach the unit to the back of my trunks. I'm currently on my third unit (wore one out and the next one was stolen), and will always have an H2O man in my swim bag.
Makes lap swimming time a lot of fun.
I like this product a lot. I am ordering my second one. Forgot to tighten the case before swimming one day or I would still be on my first one. The earphones work fine for me. I clip it to the front of my trunks but only do the crawl so not sure how it would work with other strokes. The sound in the water is good. Out of the water it is okay but then I bought it to use in the water. I didn't think loading the music was that hard.
I'm sorry I wasted the money on this. Was looking forward to swimming with this and now it will probably go in the trash unused.First of all had a real hard time putting music on it. The instructions are terrible. Even my friends 12 year old daughter couldn't do it. Eventually got one song on and it and it won't play. There's only 3 buttons and the green lights coming on and flashing but nothing. It's been over a year now and am looking for another device to swim with. absolute junk!
I can't get the ear plugs to stay in my ears. I've tried modifying the rubber adapters with no luck. I've been told that I can purchase different adapters but that is another $20 and who knows if they'll work. I'm so disappointed, I was really looking forward to tunes in the pool!
Had high hopes for this, and in truth the MP3 player is fine and all water proof, synced from PC no worries. What it totally fails at is to stay in my ears while swimming. Kind of a bad thing considering that's the whole point. I guess I'm back to swimming and thinking not swimming and listening.
