I ordered the product because I am a beach lifeguard for San Diego, and I needed shorter red shorts, because all they sell in surf shops are men sizes. I really like the product, it worked out perfect, but I'm glad the website said it runs small, because that is definitely true. I got one size up, then 2 sizes up because I wanted it to fit more loosely.

These fit well, are just long enough without being too long and dowdy and dry quickly.  Great for covering up.

The picture is deceiving. These shorts are very short and give no coverage for the upper thigh. If I had good thighs that would be fine; but that's not the case. Also, I ordered a size larger as suggested and even these are a little snug. Overall, not pleased. They are cute though. I think I'll give them to my smaller sister.

Someone commented that they run small so to choose the next bigger size.  That equated with a good fit for me.

I use these shorts when attending water aerobics and chasing my kids at the pool.  They don't seem to be very high quality and the zipper broke and had to be replaced the first time I put them on.  The pocket is a nice feature.

I'd been looking for a pair of board shorts I could swim in that fit me well, and these ones fit the bill. They are not only a good fit, they are nice and light so I can easily swim laps in them without feeling overly encumbered with material. I now have a pair of these board shorts in every color.  I replace them about once a year - the first pair I got developed a little hole in the back pocket and the paint on the snaps chipped off.  The 2nd pair held up better but started getting a little stretched out, now I am on my 3rd pair and maybe I have lost a little weight, but they seem a little more generous in the waist from the first two.  All in all, I have enjoyed these shorts very much and swim in them several times a week.
