My 9 year old daughter uses them daily. She is happy she can see under the water now with prescription goggles. I wish I would have had a pair when I was a kid. The only thing I would like to chance is maybe adding anit-scratch. But all in all they are great for the price. I plan to get her a pair every year for the summer. Thank you so much.
Optically, these are fine. The eyepieces are interchangeable so for those of us with different eye strengths, it is possible to make 2 pairs of mis-matched lenses out of 2 pairs of goggles. The price is certainly a good deal, if you can get them to fit right. The problem is that the nose bridge is way too flat, and sharp! I see others have tried using tubing, or shaping it or padding it somehow, but as it was, I had a sharp cut across my nose after wearing around the house for about 5 minutes. The different size bridges do not help - it is not the separation of the eyecups that is wrong, but that the eyecups are shallow, and the nosebridge is pretty much flat across. I returned and exchanged for the Vanquisher, which fits much better, and can also be used to make mis-matched pairs.
My daughter is having SO much more fun at the pool these days now that she can actually SEE. These goggles far exceeded our expectation given the amazingly reasonable price.
We looked around and these are the best for the money. My son plays water polo and he can see great with them.
Optics in the goggles are great, and the goggles themselves are quality. The problem is that the strap is WAAAYY too tight, and there is very little adjustability. I have them as loose as they can be without coming undone, but I can only keep them on my head for about 5 minutes before the pain in my eye sockets gets to be unbearable. It's almost as if the straps are for a child's head.
These will save me contact lenses - I used to swim with them in and lost a few despite goggles. These are great and so easonable that even though I had to order a second pair to get the strength right, it was still a great deal!
