Fantastic product!! Makes lap swimming so much more enjoyable. Slightly confusing instructions initially but a tech can walk you through it 24/7. I would highly recommend this to anyone getting bored with their workouts!!
Just got it and used it yesterday. A wonderful product. I swim 45 minutes most free-style. The sound quality is great. I have debated between this one and the ipod with housing, I am glad that I chose this one. It is so easy to put on and no wire to bug around. and not water leaking into ear because no earphone at all. 256MB is not big but enough to hold songs last 2-3 times swimming for me. Should get it earlier!
Love this product! Have been indoors in a lap lane for 7 months and boredom was affecting my workout. SwiMP3 gets my mind off the laps and lets me relax. My form improves, breathing becomes rhythmical and the laps fly by. Warning: It's easy to loose count of laps because you're having such a great time.ON the technical note... MP3's loaded easily with windows media player. Goggles can be switched out to your favorite pair easily. And the unit does not feel heavy or bulky. Would buy again.
I have tried several other types of "underwater radios", but they never worked. The SwiMp3 player not only works great, but I can pick my own songs. Makes swimming more enjoyable.
The swimp3 I bought isn't so bad if you can swim laps, but if you stop every end of each lap, you don't get to appreciate it the songs, as you don't get to hear the music well when your above. The sound when you get into the water is teriffic, like your inside a surround studio, but the problem is when you get up like when you do breast stroke, there is a distinct difference in sound when your down and when your up breathing. Also, I called Finis and asked if I have to drain the batteries before recharging it, they said I can charge it anytime as its battery has no memory, asked them what to do when the batteries life has shortened, they said they will replace it if they still have the same model.
Oh my gosh!! I can not believe how crystal clear the sound is. I was a bit unsure about this purchase, not anymore. What a great and fun way to swim laps as it can get boring at times. I swam an extra 30 minutes last night not even realizing it. I definetely recommend!
