I have had this suit now for a year and five months. I don't wear it every time I swim, but relatively often. And I almost always wear it in the whirlpool. The suit is still in good shape. There are some holes in the brief that is inside the suit, but the suit itself still looks good--no fading, no stretching out. The brief inside is a bit awkward and not that comfortable. The suit is a little heavier than a lycra suit, but not that bad. If I could get the brief to be tighter, i would purchase this suit again.
Fabric and fit are first rate. Waist band (even when tied with the attached cord) never quite gets snug. Pushing off from side of pool has lead to some embarrassing (and not very "hydrodynamic") moments.
I dont really like the bikini brief inside the pants. the fit is fine. it is a little more slippery than the lycra suits and the pull buoy slips down your leg faster than a lycra suit.
I swim a mile 2 or 3 days a week. I find the brief inside a jammer style seems to last longest with the straight jammers wearing out in the seam up the butt. This suit seems to be just what I wanted. We'll see how long it lasts.
I bought this suit because I wanted to see if a polyester suit would last longer. So far the suit has been good. The black liner is a little awkward. It makes it a little tough to get the suit on. But it fits well. And I think that it seems to help raise my legs in the water a bit. (I've been a briefs guy until this suit)
