they work every time. I used to use the plastic ones but they never seem to stay in place, I was frequently repositioning during a set. It seemed that cracks would accumulate till they finally broke apart. Never have to reposition these during the swim.

I'm preparing for a triathlon and new to swimming freestyle, so I struggle w/ water getting in my nose! This one is comfortable, but a little too big. My nose is average to small in size and I have to frequently readjust it so that it will stay on snug enough. I'm managing w/ it right now as I'm practicing, but I've ordered the same clip, but in a "small" size and we'll see if it works better.
