Perfect product for synchro.
I'm preparing for a triathlon and new to swimming freestyle, so I struggle w/ water getting in my nose! This one is comfortable, but a little too big. My nose is average to small in size and I have to frequently readjust it so that it will stay on snug enough. I'm managing w/ it right now as I'm practicing, but I've ordered the same clip, but in a "small" size and we'll see if it works better.
While swimming laps I wanted to speed up my pace by doing flip-turns, but found that water shooting up my nose made it impossible for me so I decided that a pair of nose plugs would likely fix the issue. I bought two pair of these Club Swim nose clips because they appeared to be the same as the professional Speedo clips, but at a lower price. Unfortunately for me the clips won't stay on my nose once they are wet. When putting them on my nose dry they seem to give a tight seal, but once in the pool the water makes them come off quickly, even after trying to make adjustments with the tension. I gave the item 3-stars (average) because I don't know if perhaps I would have the same issue with other brands, maybe it is the shape of my nose or something else that is not the fault of the item itself. They have worked for others, but not for me so I guess you just won't know unless you try them.
what can you say?
Bought this for my daughter who loves to get acrobatic in the pool (if we had a synchro swim team nearby she'd be on it!) The base of the clip is WAY wider than the ones I used to use as an AAU synchro swimmer in the 70s, and really strong (a good thing) but therefore not very adjustable to a young person's nose. It seems to work fine, but it doesn't look very stable on her nose. I keep waiting for her to tell me it's falling off. (We used to "glue" our noseclips to our noses with clear nail polish before competitions! Don't think I'll be recommending that for her!)
