I've been back in the pool after a 9 year layoff. The Hydra Tight is like a second skin. Very comfortable. It does make you feel like you are gliding nicely thru the water. I have a 34 waist but fit into a size 36. You may consider looking into the next size above your normal waist size.
I bought this technical suit for my nephew on his birthday. He wore it to his swim meet the next day, and said it was "amazing!" and that it helped him place much higher and swim faster than he expected. This is a very discerning guy, and he loves it!

Not as tight as a fastskin but still felt like I had just shaved my legs in the water. Also, it felt a little bouyant. Comfortable enough to wear for a long meet but still fast.
