I bought these for my 9 year old who is quite small. They are extremely tight and difficult to get on, but we figured they had to be otherwise would hold water and defeat their purpose. Once on he finds them comfortable and is able to swim well.

Great stuff, not only to swim! I will use them under my pants during cold days. They fit tight in your body (you barely notice you have "underwear") and keep you warm.
The "hip cut" avoids the uncomfortable sensation that other "thermal/underwear" cause it in your waist...

I've been back in the pool after a 9 year layoff. The Hydra Tight is like a second skin. Very comfortable. It does make you feel like you are gliding nicely thru the water.
I have a 34 waist but fit into a size 36. You may consider looking into the next size above your normal waist size.

I bought this technical suit for my nephew on his birthday. He wore it to his swim meet the next day, and said it was "amazing!" and that it helped him place much higher and swim faster than he expected. This is a very discerning guy, and he loves it!
