I was hoping that I could read the watch through my swimming goggles even when they were steamed up a bit. It turns out that the dial just isn't contrasted enough to provide a dark enough large image for me to read without my glasses. Might as well buy a battery operated small clock with those digital red readouts and place it at the end of your lane. I'm thinking of returning watch. Might be better for runners.
