These bar bells offer a strong level of resistance in the water for either flotation or for arm exercises. The bar is well padded for your hands. The only issue I had was that one of the plastic covers on the end popped off. If this happens the floats will come off. Easy fix though just use some PVC glue and it will never come off again.

My grandchildren reside with us and are taking swim lessons here at home. They completed lessons last month at our local high school pool ( Concord High School Elkhart, In ) They used a larger version at the high school. That's why I ordered these for here at home. The kids are ages 3 yrs and 18 months, We had older kids here this weekend using them and they liked floating around with them. This size is good for the kids now but I will probably be ordering the longer ones next years. hey are sturdy and very durable. Thank you.

Stand on it with feet apart to do abdominal crunches. Certainly can feel the pull on the abdominal muscles if you push it down and let it bring your feet up and then push down again.
