i had planned to put my mp3 player in this case to use at the gym. my old case broke and i use ugly black electrical tape to keep it sealed. this case is big! way too big for modern mp3's or any ipod. it's like an old school remote control size, only thicker. and uglier. it would be useful for hiking or bird watching so you can store your food, keys, mp3, map. i returned it immediately. sorry! i wanted to love it.
