Top is great and fully lined with a thick material in front. Girls can wear this by itself with no bathing suit under. Fit is comfortable. As for the bottoms, they are a little skimpy. Very low cut at the belly and not much coverage in the back, a little too bare for a 9year old. But overall it is a quality made cute and comfortable set.
