These shorts are different from EVERY short out there in that the legs are a tube of one type of fabric with no gripper or seam anywhere around the thigh opening. The thighs do not bulge over the elastic anywhere! Even shorts with wide, supposedly forgiving edging around the leg opening create a little bulge at the leg opening which I hate. The only seam on the leg is the inseam which runs a few inches forward of the true inseam location.  I am excited to ride with these shorts for that reason, since shorts with an inseam in the usual place cause me grief. These run smaller than other LG shorts. They are REALLY tight - like I am going to bust out of them so I have ordered a size larger than usual. They are also very long. I am 5''11 and the leg opening is about one inch above my knee in the too-small size medium..  The fabric is very thin and at the same time supportive. I will return with a performance review when I have the larger size.
