I bought this to get my legs up closer to the surface. I never realized how much of a handicap my heavy legs dragging through the water were until I swam with a pull buoy. Let me say this product works GREAT. Not only did it bring my legs right to the surface, it actually felt like I was sliding through the water faster than with bare legs or jammers. FYI, I had never swam with a wetsuit before. Excellent floatation for the legs.
